Shannon DiStefano Named To Womensfieldhockey.com Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College junior Shannon DiStefano (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was named to the womensfieldhockey.com Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, September 20, for her outstanding play last week. She helped Providence earn its first two wins of the season.

DiStefano recorded four saves and registered her first career shutout against Northeastern on September 15 in Boston, Mass. On September 19, she tallied three saves and earned her second-straight shutout as the Friars defeated Columbia, 2-0, in Providence, R.I. She has a 1.51 goals against average and a .765 save percentage this season.
