Men's Lacrosse Set To Host 2012 Alumni Celebration

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The Providence College men's lacrosse program is set to host its 2012 Lacrosse Alumni Celebration, welcoming former players and their families to campus on Saturday, April 14.

The weekend will feature the program's annual alumni game at 2:30 p.m. A Friends of Friar Lacrosse Reception is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. at McPhail's in the lower level of Slavin Center. An auction and raffles will be held in conjunction with the reception, with all proceeds to benefit Friar lacrosse.

The current men's lacrosse team is slated to host Holy Cross in a non-conference game at 7:00 p.m. The game will be played at Lennon Family Field on upper campus, and will be televised locally by Cox Sports (tape delay).
