Men's Lacrosse Kicks Off Fall Community Service Initiative

The Providence College men's lacrosse team kicks off the fall season by getting involved in the local community. The team has formed a strong bond with the Boys' and Girls' Club and looks to continue the relationship through the remainder of the year.

On Sunday, Oct. 19, the team attended the annual Blackstone Valley Boy's and Girls Club's Rubber Ducky race in Cumberland, R.I. Head Coach Chris Gabrielli and the team spent the day preparing and cleaning up the race which typically raises over $30,000 for the youth center and its programming.

The next community service event for the Friar's lacrosse program will be the Coaches' Clinic held from 7-10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30. To RSVP for this event, please contact Taylor Smith at tsmith18@friars.providence.edu.
