PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence softball team announced upcoming changing in its schedule. The Friars will host a non-conference game against URI at 3:00 p.m. at Raymond Field on Thursday, April 23. Providence also announced that its non-conference doubleheader versus Maine, scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, has been cancelled due to both teams' rescheduling of conference games.

The Friars will next play an away game at Brown on Wednesday, April 15 at 4:00 p.m. before traveling to Villanova on Saturday, April 18 (doubleheader at noon and 2:00 p.m.) and Sunday, April 19 (single game at noon).
