PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College men's lacrosse team celebrated the National Education Association's National Reading Week by reading to students at Anthony Carnavale Elementary School in Providence, R.I. on Wednesday, April 15. The student-athletes read a number of books to second and fifth grade students to promote reading at an early age.

The student-athletes that participated in the event were graduate student Cole McCormack (Rye, N.Y.), graduate student Sean McGuire (Wycoff, N.J.), senior Peter Badgley (Summit, N.J.), senior Buck McClure (Dallas, Texas), and freshman James Barclay (Toronto, Canada).

The National Education Association's National Reading Week promotes reading as a fun activity in schools across the country. For pictures of the event, see the attached photo gallery.
