Softball Releases Its Fall 2015 Schedule

Softball 2015 Fall Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College softball team announced its Fall 2015 schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The Friars will play eight away games during the fall season.

The Friars will open their 2015 fall season with a single game at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 versus Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.

Next, Providence will travel to Fairfield, Conn. for the Fairfield Stag Classic for a pair of games on Sept. 20. At 12:30 p.m. the Friars will take on Sacred Heart and at 2:30 p.m, the Friars will play Fairfield University.

The Friars return to Smithfield, R.I. for the R.I. Ocean State Classic at Bryant University. On Saturday, Sept. 26, Providence will play a double-header with a game versus Bryant at 11:00 a.m. and a game against Brown at 1:30 p.m. On Sunday, Sept. 27, the Friars will play at 1:30 against Rhode Island for their final game of the Ocean State Classic.

For the final tilt of 2015, Providence will play Boston University twice on Saturday, Oct. 3 in Boston, Mass. The first game is set to start at 12:00 p.m. and the next begins at 2:30 p.m.

Providence will release its full schedule for the 2016 season at a later date.
