Will Mazzone Named BIG EAST Offensive Player Of The Week

New York, N.Y. - The BIG EAST Conference announced its weekly honors today (April 4). Providence men's lacrosse senior Will Mazzone (Stony Brook, N.Y.) was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Friars' 15-10 win over St. John's on April 2.

Mazzone tallied eight points on six goals and two assists in the victory over the Red Storm. His six goals were a league best for the week, as well as the eight points. Additionally, the game marked the third time this year that Mazzone has recorded eight points.
