PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Roger McQueen scored his first two NCAA goals and added an assist as the No. 15 Providence College men's hockey team defeated Merrimack, 4-2, on Friday night (Nov. 14) at Schneider Arena.

NOTES
- The Warriors opened the scoring with a PP goal at 4:25 of the opening period. Justin Gill tapped home a feed from Caden Cranston on the PP.
- The Friars tied the game at 14:29 of the first on a wrister from the point from Adams. Roger McQueen won the draw back to Hudson Malinoski, who slid the puck to Adams for his third tally of the season.
- After the Warriors grabbed a 2-1 lead early in the third on Nick Pierre's fourth marker of the campaign, McQueen banged in a rebound from in close off a shot by Justin Gill's at 7:27 to tie it at two for his first NCAA goal.
- Less than seven minutes later, Logan Sawyer potted the game-winner on a turnaround shot from the right face-off dot with 5:35 remaining in regulation. Martin Masa picked up the primary assist on Sawyer's fourth, his first-career point.
- McQueen sealed the win with an empty-netter with one second remaining.
- The Friars won 59 percent of the draws (38-of-65), led by McQueen (13-of-21) and Gamache (10-of-18).
- John Mustard's nine-game point streak came to an end.
