UTAH STATE NOTES (GAME 1)
- Utah State scored two runs through the top of third to take the lead, 2-0.
- The Friars responded with a run on an RBI double from Dunn in the bottom of the third (2-1).
- Utah State scored a run in the fifth, extending their lead to 3-1.
- Alyssa Twomey (Warwick, R.I.) stepped into the mound for Providence and pitched two scoreless innings, recording five strikeouts.
- The Friars were unable to find the answer and fell, 3-1.
- Providence finished with three hits and one error.

TEXAS TECH NOTES (GAME 2)
- Texas Tech jumped out to a 6-0 lead with five runs coming in the first and one run in the second.
- Tech extended their lead to 12-0 with six runs in the fourth.
- Dunn scored a home run in the bottom of the fourth to put the Friars on the board, 12-1.
- Texas Tech added another run in the top of the fifth and won the game, 13-1.
- The Friars finished with five hits and no errors.
