Tanner Adams (Northport, N.Y.) was named Boston Children's Hospital Hockey East Player of the Week while goaltender
Jack Parsons (Cortland, N.Y.) earned Stop it Goaltending Hockey East Goaltender of the Week honors on Monday (Feb. 9). Adams earns his second-career weekly recognition and Parsons recorded his third weekly honor in the last month.
Adams registered a career-high four points on a goal and three assists in the Friars' 6-1 win at New Hampshire on Friday night, following up with an assist in Saturday night's 6-1 win over Vermont. He has posted 10 points (4g, 6a) over his last six games with a +7 rating. Parsons continued his strong play, extending his winning streak to nine games after stopping 51-of-53 shots over the weekend, good for a 1.00 GAA and .962 save percentage.
The Friars welcome in the Northeastern Huskies for a two-game series at Schneider Arena beginning Friday night at 7 p.m. Saturday's puck drop will take place at 5:30 p.m.
