Cameron Dunn Breaks Program Single Season Home Run Record

Dunn has hit 14 home runs through 35 games this season.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Junior Cameron Dunn (Bothell, Wash.) recorded her 13th home run of the season on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, breaking the program's single season record. The record was previously held by four Friars. Jacque Harrington ('22), Nicole Lundstrom ('17), Kristie Dederick ('15) and Rachel Bartholomew ('06) all recorded 12 home runs in a single season for Providence.

Dunn has had an impressive season for Providence so far. The infielder has been featured on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll four times and leads the team with 47 RBI, 14 home runs and a .921 slugging percentage. Her 14 home runs are tied for first in the BIG EAST and her .921 slugging percentage puts her at second in the conference.

The Friars will travel to Storrs, Conn. to play UConn in a three-game BIG EAST series from April 17-19. The first game is scheduled for Friday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
